I co-founded Picfx in 2011 with the vision to create simple Photo & Video tools and filters for iOS. We strive to keep our interface minimal & intuitive by limiting the number of tabs and screens a user must navigate to apply filters, tools and edges. I have contributed Creative Direction, Art Direction, Graphic Design, Filter Development, UI/UX, Branding, Web Design, HTML/CSS, Social Media and marketing for all versions.

Filters
Currently Picfx offers 43 Free and 40 Premium filters. Filters are displayed in a large horizontal slider and nested within sub folders called sets for faster access to your favourite filters. Sets can be re-arranged within the settings tab.
Current filter sets: Disposable, Lifestyle, Black & White, Extreme Cool, Extreme Warm, Instant Film, PFX, Modern & Classics.
Tools
Instead of duplicating the overwelming default tool set available in the Photos App we have custom built the tools you need. Each tool is fine tuned to provide superiour results.
All tools are accessed in a single screen, making the adjustment process quick and without having to navigate between multiple menus.
Current adjustment tools include: Filter strength, Exposure, Contrast, Vibrance, Vignette, Sharpen, Highlight Save, Shadow Save.
Edges
Edges was designed with our vision of keeping editing on the iPhone quick and simple. Picfx helps users pick a suitable colourway for their border by offereing a selection of complimentary colours sourced from their current photo, and although we love the pinch gesture Apple has created we've opted to set the border width control on a slider for absolute pixel perfect precision.
